Privacy policy
Effective 2 October 2026. Applies to all Android apps published by AuraaByte on Google Play.
This policy explains what information AuraaByte apps handle, why, and the choices you have. We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't sell your personal information.
Information our apps use on your device
Some apps need device permissions to work. These are used only for the feature you're using, and the data stays on your device unless a feature clearly says otherwise.

You can turn off any permission at any time in your phone's Settings. The related feature will stop working until you allow it again.
AI features
When you use an AI feature (for example identifying a plant or translating speech), the photo, text or audio you submit is sent over an encrypted connection to an AI service provider to produce the result. We don't use this content to identify you, and we don't keep it after the result is returned, except where the provider's own policy requires temporary processing.
Advertising
Our apps are free and show ads from Google AdMob and its mediation partners, which may include AppLovin and Unity Ads. To show and measure ads, these companies may collect:
- your device's advertising ID,
- IP address and approximate location,
- device model, operating system and language,
- how you interact with ads.
If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or another region where consent is required, our apps ask for your choice before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's settings where available. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads.

Crash reports and analytics
Some apps use Google Firebase to collect anonymous crash reports and usage statistics, such as which screens are opened. This helps us fix bugs and improve the apps. It doesn't include your name, email or the content of your files.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through one of our apps, contact us and we'll help remove it.
Data security and retention
Data sent from our apps travels over encrypted connections. Information stored on your device is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR, the UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or India's DPDP Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, or to opt out of personalised advertising. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted in the app listing or inside the app.
